Timbi-Guard TMS - Perimeter Treatment (Slab & Frame) to both untreated and T2 termite resistant treated timber. Treatment upwards of 300mm of perimeter studs & timber frame base plate as well to concrete slab edge. No re-treatment required under normal environmental conditions.
Occasionally on new building work slab penetrations need to be relocated. Timbi-Guard product is applied to the cold joint, slab penetrations and closest timber frames.Timbi-Guard penetrates into the building materials and locks in for the life of the build with the active Boron ( a non toxic mineral salt) that is a stomach toxin for termites. Termites will digest the boron if they tunnel upwards through a developing crack in the cold joint or around a slab penetration.
